About Me
Hi, I’m Kimberley!
I was introduced to naturopathy when I was in my teens. Ever since then, I have lived my life in a more natural way, rather than a medical way. I have also been a very active person all of my life – playing on several sports teams, being a lifeguard, and trying many different types of fitness, so taking Kinesiology in university was a natural fit.
However, I also had a passion for food, so my career took me on the path of hospitality for many years – this included having two of my own companies – one catering, and one a natural food company. My career has come full circle now, as I am now making my way back into movement/fitness.
My mother was a social worker, which meant my brother and I were always around seniors. Though I didn’t understand it at the time, it all makes sense now – I have a natural, genuine rapport with seniors, thanks to my mom. My latest job in a retirement home has been my favourite so far, and has helped me decide to further my career in this field. In addition to having a degree in Kinesiology, I am a certified seniors fitness instructor, a Bone Fit trainer (provide exercise for those with osteoporosis), and am an Ageless Grace educator (a brain health fitness program).
As with anything I take on, I have a strong sense of passion and look forward to keeping you active throughout your journey in life.
I hope you’ll join me!
